Shoutout to Queer Cincinnati!

by

The bloggers at Queer Cincinnati found out about our brand-spanking new blog and they were really thoughtful to not only add us to their blogroll, but they even made a post about our site! Who said hospitality didn’t exist on the other side of the Ohio River?

So, we’re doing our fellow part to promote our sister site. Their Web presence, in a way, galvanized us to start one here, as you could say it was a Twitter inspiration.

Beyond online proximity, Cinci is only an hour and a half drive from Louisville, so if you’re itching to get out of the River City and don’t want to travel for hours to find a gay-friendly metropolis, Cincinnati is your best bet.

What’s going on in Cincinnati these days? Despite the conservative lasso of the nearby Northern Kentucky suburbs, in recent years Cincinnati seen a renaissance in its gay scene. Whether you just want to dance at Adonis or the iconic Dock Complex or get your activist fix by volunteering with Impact Cincinnati (who just launched a new site too), there always seems to be something going on in the Queen City.

So, who’s up for a road trip?

Note: If you aren’t able to make it to the Tranny Roadshow tonight in Lexington, they’ll be making a stop in Cinci this upcoming Saturday. All the more reason to go, right? Click here for more details.
