Going Out: Pulp – 1/17-1/18

pulpflyerPandora Productions, a relatively new playhouse in Louisville, will be presenting Pulp, a musical homage 1950s lesbian literature. The story centers around the steamy love life of Terry Logan, a “butch” who moves to Chicago in the mid-1950s. Pulp has five actors starring in six roles, providing witty, fast-paced singing and comedy at “The Well,” the bar where most of the action takes place. This clever 90-minute play was put together by Patricia Kane, a playright whose works have been featured around the country.

Sunday’s the last night for Pulp and according to past reviews, it’s well worth your time. If you can’t make it, Pandora is always cranking out productions throughout the year, as they’re one of the few locales in town that feature GLBTQ-related plays.
